The sound of summer is back on Clapham Common as the much-loved Bandstand Concerts return for another season of free live music.
Running every Sunday across June, July and August from 2pm to 4pm, the concerts will once again bring a mix of jazz, brass, gospel, swing and orchestral performances to the heart of the Common.
It’s one of South West London’s best summer traditions so bring a blanket, gather some friends and settle in.

• 14 June — Putney and Wimbledon Brass Band (Brass)

Alongside the music, the street market also returns with a curated line-up of local traders serving food, drinks and treats throughout the afternoon.
This year, the concerts need your support.
Funding from Lambeth Council has been cut by more than half, putting the future of these events at risk. Thanks to local volunteers and Clapham Common Management Advisory Committee, the concerts are still going ahead but donations will be collected on the day to help keep them running and support the bands performing.
Everything you see is organised by locals, in their own time, for the community. With funding expected to be fully cut by 2027, any contribution will help keep this tradition alive.
